Michael Talbot: Capturing the Poetry of the Human Form
Michael Talbot’s bronze sculptures explore the beauty, balance, and drama of the human form. “Sculpture for me,” he explains, “is an attempt to illuminate a chosen moment in time.” His poetic approach, combined with exquisite craftsmanship, results in intricate and emotionally resonant works.
His latest collection features elegant hands forming subtle gestures of love, each piece cast in bronze using the ancient lost wax method. Talbot personally oversees every step, refining each sculpture with a distinctive patina.
Born in 1963, Talbot studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Arts, where he won the prestigious Landseer Prize. He later trained under Dame Elizabeth Frink and was elected to both the Royal Society of British Sculptors and the National Sculpture Society (USA).
