Born in Rochdale in 1969, Scott discovered his love of art early, sketching punks and designing album covers—a path that led him to a Fine Art degree at Cheltenham University. After a devastating studio fire in 2002, he temporarily stepped away from painting, only to have his passion reignited years later while living in Verona, where he began capturing the city’s stunning architecture.
Scott’s work is deeply influenced by Chinese calligraphy, where each line conveys both visible beauty and the soul within. His drawings are born from careful study, intuition, and the energy of life itself, with every mark infused with movement and vitality. Combining years of disciplined practice with a fearless approach to the brush, Scott’s art captures the spirit of his subjects in a single, confident stroke—inviting viewers to experience the energy and story within each piece.
