Kitt: Master of Coastal Collage

Kitt, an acclaimed seascape and abstract artist for over 20 years, is celebrated for his distinctive collage paintings that blend coastal scenes with layers of vintage text and imagery. His unique works have been showcased internationally, from the UK to New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong, and beyond.

Growing up in Somerset, Kitt developed a passion for nature and creativity early on, later honing his skills at Bath College and the University of South Wales. Now based on the Isle of Portland in Dorset, he lives an adventurous, off-grid lifestyle on his boat, drawing inspiration from the rugged coastline.

His signature technique involves layering materials like sheet music, historic maps, and botanical diagrams beneath painted coastal vistas, creating textured, dynamic works that invite exploration and discovery.
